I saw the Wizard of Oz on the 25th July at the Theatre Royal and I was very excited, because the Wizard of Oz is one of my favourite films. We arrived at the theatre around 7pm and there were a lot of people outside. There was an ambulance there, because some of the stage scenery had fallen onto the band, thankfully nobody was seriously injured, just a broken arm and thankfully our car was there to take us home.

The following morning I was able to re-book for the 27th July, I went with Alison my carer, another resident and her carer.

The show was really good, it was full of jokes and songs and although we only had a partial view of the show, it was still funny and made us laugh a lot. Even though it finished quite late, it wasn’t a problem for us ha-ha!

Although there was a lot of merchandise for sale I didn’t buy anything. I’ve quite a few other gigs and shows booked for this year already and my next show is a Jess Glynne tribute act at the Lancastrian Suite on the 8th September, so watch this space!!
